About the domain-name ARTDEEV.COM

Since the last time I have sent an email out to the people in my contact-list I am, with the help of a friend, contacting Yahoo. My friend is an IT consultant and a journalist. He has managed that 'big boss yahoo Europe' has put some people on this to look what can be done about it.
It took us a while to get him so far but the last email has helped a lot! Next Wednesday at the latest I have more news, and hopefully good news,...

I understand that you have many other issues to deal with.
However, the site artdeev.com represents a ten year investment in time and money
and is a showcase for this famous artist. This is not a minor affair. The online
visibility of this man's work depends on the existence of this site. Yahoo's
mismanagement of the site has caused it to be lost and replaced by an "online
casino".
I am now writing an article ("How Yahoo! lost the website of a famous artist") for
the UK, French, German and Swiss press about how Yahoo Europe has badly mishandled
this matter. If the matter is not satisfactorily resolved by this Friday (23
November) I will release the article to the technology editors of national daily
newspapers in those countries.
If there is someone else within Yahoo who should be contacted instead of you,
please let me know and I will contact that person instead.
My interest is as an IT consultant, journalist and friend of David Vanorbeek.

Since two weeks I am no longer the owner of my domain name: www.artdeev.com. Eleven years I have spent putting in my energy and love. Yahoo, who was the registrar of this name did NOT notify me it was time to renewal, so without telling me, without my permission, they sold my name to an Australian company who SELLS domain names!!!


Since two weeks this name leads you no longer to ART but to an online casino! So, nothing to do at all with Artdeev.

Because all of this is legal (!!!), this new owner profits now of its popularity! In google the site was often the first to come up in search results. (4th of 167.000.000 within the search for "sculpture") All the links (+ 500) pointing to it, thousands of people have my business cards with the name on it, it is in my books, even on my van! Pagerank4 on google,etc,… Even on yahoo, it was the most popular site for sculptors, metal.


I write you this mail to give you my new name www.vanorbeek.com and to ask all of you people who were so friendly in the past, by putting a link towards it on your own pages, by sending the link to your friends and art lovers, by helping to bring the site into wider circulation on your facebook, twitter, pintererst,... to do it once more for this new name.

Depuis deux semaines, je ne suis plus le propriétaire de mon nom de domaine: www.artdeev.com. Onze années j'ai passé à y mettre mon énergie et mon  amour. Yahoo, qui était le registrar de ce nom n'a pas m’avertis qu'il était temps de renouveler, donc sans me le dire, sans ma permission, ils ont vendu mon nom à une entreprise Australien qui vend des noms de domaine!!!
Depuis deux semaines, ce nom vous mène plus à l’Art, mais vers un casino en ligne! Donc, rien du tout à voir avec Artdeev.

Parce que tout cela est légal (!!!), ce nouveau propriétaire  bénéfice maintenant de sa popularité! Dans google le site était souvent le premier à venir dans les résultats de recherche. (Google: "sculpture" 4 sur 167.000.
000 resultats). Tous les liens (+ 500) pointant vers elle, des milliers de personnes qui ont mes cartes de visite avec le nom dessus, il est dans mes livres, même sur mon camion! Pagerank4 sur google, etc ... Même sur yahoo, il a été le site le plus populaire pour les sculpteurs, métal.
Je vous écris ce mail pour vous donner mon nouveau nom www.vanorbeek.com  et de demander à tous les  gens qui étaient si sympathiques dans le passé, en mettant un lien vers elle sur leurs propres pages, en envoyant le lien à leurs amis et des amateurs d'art, en aidant à faire circuler le site sur leurs  facebook, twitter,  pintererst, ... de le faire de nouveau pour ce nouveau nom.

Yahoo, die de registrar van deze naam was, heeft me niet op de hoogte gebracht dat het tijd was om deze te vernieuwen, dus zonder me te verwittigen en zonder mijn toestemming hebben zij deze naam verkocht aan een Australisch bedrijf dat domeinnamen verkoopt!!!
Sinds twee weken brengt deze naam u niet meer naar kunst, maar naar een online casino! Dus, helemaal niets te doen met artdeev.

Dit alles is legaal (!!!), Deze nieuwe eigenaar profiteert nu van zijn populariteit! In google was de site vaak de eerste om op te komen in de zoekresultaten. Voor het trefwoord "sculpture": op de vierde plaats van de 167.000.000 resultaten. Alle links die verwijzen naar deze site (+ 500), duizenden mensen die mijn visitekaartjes hebben, in mijn boeken en zelfs op mijn camionette! Pagerank4 op google, etc, ... Zelfs op yahoo was het de meest populaire site voor beeldhouwers, metaal.

Ik schrijf u deze mail om u mijn nieuwe naam www.vanorbeek.com bekent te maken en om aan alle mensen die in het verleden zo vriendelijk waren om een link te plaatsen op hun eigen pagina’s, de site door te sturen naar hun vrienden en kunstliefhebbers of door te helpen de site in circulatie te brengen via facebook, twitter, pintererst, ... dit nog een keer doen voor deze nieuwe naam.
